Water and Sewer performance report released

Central Coast Water relined more  than 245km of sewer mains across the region in the last financial year; 2021-22. The organisation repaired 308 leaks across 1,000km of water mains, saving more than 870ML of water. And it completed an inspection of the Mangrove Creek Dam Diversion Tunnel using robot technology. Two peninsula developments win in court

Two court decisions last week involved proposed developments on the Woy Woy peninsula. An Ettalong developer has succeeded in the Land and Environment Court to overturn a Local Planning Panel refusal of the development. Norfolk Island Pine to be demolished

A campaign to save a tree out the front of a proposed redevelopment at 11 Trelawney Street, Killarney Vale has failed. The Local Planning Panel has granted deferred approval to demolish the Norfolk Island Pine tree out the front of the property once vehicle access has been created for the house next door. Planning Panel says no to ocean front pool

The Local Planning Panel has refused to allow a concrete in-ground swimming pool at a waterfront residence at North Avoca. The owners of the five bedroom home, at 44 Ocean Street, North Avoca, advertised as a holiday letting, wanted a 34Msq pool built forward of the coastal building line.
