Briefing on assets on April 14

April 13, 2025 by Merilyn Vale

Three topics are on the agenda for the third councillor briefing, to be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, at the Council building in Hely St, Wyong

The briefing starts with an overview of integrated planning and reporting documents at 3.30pm; followed by a Regulatory Priority Statement and then the income generating assets, part one.

The third item, about the assets, is the result of a recent councillor motion – adopted at the March 11 meeting – asking for an overview of council’s income generating assets.

The CEO suggested in his written response to the agenda item that two briefings sessions should be scheduled over the coming months.
“It is suggested that the first session is scheduled for April 2025 to provide a high-level overview of the financial performance of these assets over a period, the main drivers of this performance, and the investment in these assets over the same period,” he said.
“In this session the various management models, partnerships and any relevant governance aspects will also be covered.”
Briefings are not livestreamed but the public is allowed to attend.
