Children beading

Central Coast Council says it is making it easy to keep the kids entertained these school holidays.

Families can drop in for a single activity or plan a full week of fun with more than 60 free and affordable events on offer.

The program of activities spans Council’s regional gallery, libraries and leisure centres, with plenty of activities outdoors with the youth and environmental teams!

Highlights from this year’s winter school holiday program include:

  •  Leisure centres, town centres, libraries, Gosford Regional Gallery; they are all offering events including 38 children’s art workshops at the gallery.
  • Big laughs, big tricks and unforgettable moments at the Woy Woy and Laycock theatres.
  • A range of nature-based activities are available for all ages, from exploring fascinating fungi and discovering waterbugs, to learning about migrating whales and searching for the endangered Swift Parrot. You’ll discover our unique biodiversity and local environment while enjoying an outdoor adventure
  • And don’t miss the Winter Frenzy at BATO Yard, where local skaters go head-to-head in an action-packed competition.
