First moves on shopping centre for Warnervale

June 16 update: The SEARS has been issued.   The State Government's planning department has received a request for SEARS for a Warnervale shopping centre. A SEARS sets out the issues the government wants covered by the applicant in their environmental impact statement about their proposed development. The proposal is then exhibited for public comment. Administrator joins national conference

Administrator Rik Hart and CEO David Farmer head for Canberra next week to attend the National General Assembly of Local Government. Both men will use the opportunity to meet with key ministers to spruik for funding - ie, money -  for Central Coast projects. NAB to close Gosford branch

As Gosford is awash with cranes working on new developments, the Gosford branch of the NAB is closing permanently on August 31. Customers received letters this week letting them know that their nearest branch after August would be the Erina branch at Fountain Plaza.
