Push to increase threshold for Local Planning Panel

Councillors are being asked to double the number of public submissions about proposed development applications before that triggers the involvement of the Local Planning Panel. Cr Eaton raises Deemed Refusals

Deputy Mayor Doug Eaton raised the issue of deemed refusals at day three of the Local Government conference in Tamworth. Kulnura Concrete decision expected

A proposed concrete pipes retail business at Kulnura faces the Local Planning Panel this week. The local community has campaigned against the development application (DA) for 315 Greta Road, Kulnura. Terrigal nightclub wants to open longer

Sirens Nightclub at Terrigal has applied to Council-under-administration to expand downstairs and to extend trading hours to 3am six days a week.
