Terrigal Trotters and Gosford Pre-School up for grants

July 23, 2022 by Merilyn Vale

This month’s recipients of council grants are likely to be the Terrigal Trotters to hire equipment for Great North Walk
Ultras and Gosford Pre-School with part funding for flagpoles.

The two community groups are expected to have their grants endorsed by the administrator at the July 26 meeting.

As usual, I will be there to update you as the meeting happens.

But I have to say its shaping up to be one of the most boring council-under-administration meetings so far.

The agenda is smaller than it has been in a long time but there are still a couple of items to get my teeth into.

Watch this space.

Community Support Grants are open throughout the year to provide
assistance for community activities.

Money is given out once a month.

The program provides up to $5,000 per project per financial year
in either money and/or in-kind Council services.

Applicants have to be legally constituted not-for profit organisations, or auspiced by one.

Total budget for the year is $300,000.

Applications close on the last day of each month.
