Central Coast Council Watch

Introducing the Budgewoi Ward candidates

September 3, 2024 by Merilyn Vale

Listed below are the candidates standing in the Budgewoi Ward in the order they will appear on the ballot paper.

Each candidate was asked five questions about themselves and five questions about Council”s operational plan to see what they knew about council and where their interests were.

Some people kept to the 100 word limit and others didn’t!

The questions about the operational plan included a yes or no answer to this question: Do you support keeping the 2021 ten year special rate variation (rate increase) beyond 2031?

Click on the links to read their answers.

Doug Eatons electoral pamphlets led me strongly to believe his party was representing the Liberal Party in the coming election. I heard the day after I voted that he was instructed to remove the word Liberal off his promotional forms. I feel my vote was wasted and would like to know what action will be taken against Doug Eaton for his deception.
