“Fire sale,” says CEN after Council sells land for less than it bought it

  A total of 144 hectares over four blocks at Thompson Vale Rd, Doyalson has been sold as part of Council’s sale of assets for $1.5M less than Council paid for it seven years ago. Greens demand a return to democracy

Not one but two petitions are now on the NSW Parliament's website asking for Council elections. Colongra powers up with a changed Licence condition

Pensioners hit with higher increases

When IPART allowed Central Coast Council to increase water rates this financial year, it said that typical bills would represent about 1.8% of a typical Central Coast household’s income. Land Title support for insurance claims

  NSW Land Registry Services (LRS) will make title searches and plan images free for property owners affected by flooding in NSW. Land title searches and plans can assist landholders with insurance claims and development applications to council. Central Coast Council said the searches could also provide peace of mind.
