Major art prize announced
Central Coast artist Maree Azzopardi has won this year’s Gosford Art Prize for her artwork ‘The Crossings’. In winning first prize, Ms Azzopardi was awarded $15,000. This year 908 entries were received from across Australia, with the selection panel nominating135 of the artworks as finalists for exhibition.
