Hazard reduction burn in Bouddi National Park

The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) will be conducting a hazard reduction burn in Bouddi National Park, tomorrow, Saturday 15 July. The 9.8-hectare burn south-west of Mount Bouddi will reduce naturally accumulated fuel loads in the park to protect nearby residential areas in Bensville, MacMasters Beach and Killcare Heights. Planning panel briefed on “iconic development site”

Blackwall child care centre approved

An 81 place childcare centre at 3-5 Springwood Street, Blackwall, has been approved. The decision comes after the Land and Environment Court this week endorsed the paperwork from a conciliation conference held in June between the applicant and Council. Wagstaffe to Ettalong ferry: free shuttle starts
