Council records a surplus

Council’s total income at the end of the 2017 financial year was $723.7 million, including $90.3 million of capital grants and contributions and operating expenses of $568 million. Rail site should be Warnervale not Kangy Angy says council

No charge for disposing of residential asbestos waste is one suggestion up for debate at tonight’s Central Coast Council meeting.  Councillors have asked for pay-backs of up to $500 a night for accommodation and meals in their proposed policy on being reimbursed for the costs of their civic duties. But they would have to pay for their own alcohol.
