Councillor calls out disrespectful and disruptive behaviour

Cr Chris Holstein used a debate about whaling at the July 23 council meeting to call out the behaviour of another councillor. He accused the councillor of grandstanding and putting up farcical motions designed to suck the oxygen out of the chamber. Council to develop a plan on asbestos at Wamberal Beach

Council staff have until the next council meeting, on May 14, to develop a management plan on how to to deal with asbestos at Wamberal and Terrigal Beaches. Library decision challenged
