Community leases up for renewal

Eleven community groups are in the process of getting their leases renewed on council-owned community land.

The proposals are open for public comment until May 15.

Two clubs are getting ten year leases. They are:

# Berkeley Vale Rugby League & Sports Club based at 1 Berkeley Road, Glenning Valley and

# Mangrove Mountain Sporting Association Inc at Bloodtree Oval, 156 Bloodtree Road, Mangrove Mountain.

Five year leases are being offered to:

# Long Jetty Preschool Inc at 36 & 38 Kitchener Road, Long Jetty;
# Spencer Community Progress Group Inc – 4776 Wisemans Ferry Road, Spencer,

# Wyong Museum & Historical Society – 1 Cape Rd, Wyong;

# Long Jetty & District Seniors Citizen’s Club Incorporated – 6 Thompson St, Long Jetty; and

# Tuggerah Hall Management Association – 9 Anzac Rd, Tuggerah.

Twelve month leases are proposed for:

# Avoca Kayak Club Incorporated – Part of Heazlett Oval, 15 Ficus Ave, Avoca Beach;

# Kariong Progress Association Incorporated – 2 Dandaloo St, Kariong;

# San Remo Neighbourhood Centre – 28 Brava Ave, San Remo,

# Sohier Park Community Hall Incorporated – 6 Shirley St, Ourimbah.

The proposals, which outline the permitted uses under the leases, are open for public comment until May 15.
