Urgent airport request – before masterplan is adopted

Push to increase threshold for Local Planning Panel

Cr Eaton raises Deemed Refusals

Deputy Mayor Doug Eaton raised the issue of deemed refusals at day three of the Local Government conference in Tamworth. Council fails to win PIO support

Conference fails to support Central Coast Council's motion to lobby the State Government to withdraw the Performance Improvement Order (PIO). The State conference of Local Government NSW (LGNSW) voted against the motion by 60 per cent to 40 per cent after a brief debate.
