  The current employment market is a candidate’s market, says Council, with the average time to fill vacant positions increasing since Covid. Council said recent Seek data from October 2021 showing a 63% increase in job ads posted compared to October 2020, and 44% increase compared to October 2019. Water rates will rise on the Central Coast by 17 per cent* from today. Ordinary rates will rise by 1 per cent. Fees and charges also go up from today.
