Tops in complaints – four years in a row

      Central Coast Council topped the NSW Ombudsman’s list as the most complained about council last financial year. And the three years before that. The Council attracted 158 complaints in 2021-22. It attracted 164 in 2020-21. It was 141 in 2019-20 And 125 in 2018-19. Labor commits $8.5M to waterfront

Munmorah power station site for super battery

The Southern Hemisphere’s largest network battery will be built at the site of the old Lake Munmorah Power Station. Terrigal Beach water quality remains poor: annual report

Water quality at the North Entrance Beach was upgraded to Very Good in 2021– 2022 while Terrigal and Toowoon Bay beaches were graded as Poor in the annual State of the Beaches report released by the NSW State Department of Planning and Environment.
