Savings increase by $100m in 2022

Council’s cash and investment portfolio was $680.90M at 31 December 2022. That’s up by $100m in 12 months. Council’s cash and investment portfolio totalled $580.62M at 31 January 2022. Happy new year – the finances are improving

Finances have improved so much in the last 12 months that Council hopes to retire a $100m emergency loan by the end of this year. Increase in workplace incidents

Work Health Safety incidents at Council have increased. The Hawkesbury-Nepean River Coastal Management Program (CMP) is being developed by six councils that border the tidal section of the Hawkesbury estuary. The councils include the Central Coast. Seniors and Child Care parking to disappear

      Seniors looking to park beside and behind the 50+ Leisure and Learning Centre at Gosford will no longer have exempt parking. Neither will drivers accessing the child care centre in Henry Wheeler Place. Council's local traffic committee has decided it is more equitable to simply allow four hour parking for anybody.
