Blackwall child care centre approved

An 81 place childcare centre at 3-5 Springwood Street, Blackwall, has been approved. The decision comes after the Land and Environment Court this week endorsed the paperwork from a conciliation conference held in June between the applicant and Council. Public Forum trial is cancelled. The standard public forum of having the residents speak immediately before the Council-under-administration meeting will return. For the last two meetings, the public forum was held 24 hours early and only one person spoke each time.
