Less debt than at merger: $$$ crisis over

Council now has less debt than it had when the former Wyong and Gosford councils were amalgamated in 2016.   Administrator Rik Hart made the statement at the October 31 extraordinary meeting which started at 4.30pm and finished at 4.43pm. October 31 Extraordinary meeting:  IPART deadline

The conference for NSW local government starts today, October 23, and is the reason why Central Coast Council’s October meeting was held two weeks’ early. Oct 11: Floodplain plan for Northern Lakes

  The Northern Lakes Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan (FRMS and FRMP) is expected to be adopted at the October 11 meeting of Council-under-administration. Proposed actions in the plan include Improving the flood warning system.
